The brewery filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy due to low retail sales and a rent payment dispute. The co-founders and owners have no plans to reopen the brewery in a new location. [ more ]

The owners of Metropolitan Brewing have no plans to reopen the brewery in a new location and are turning towards new adventures. The brewery filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in October and owes over $1 million in equipment rental fees and $386,000 for a pandemic loan. [ more ]
