The British east coast is the fastest eroding coastline in Europe. Landslides and rising sea levels eat away at the soft foundations on which life here has been built. Every time I return, however, something has changed. Traces of what has gone remind us of what is to come.
What is love for you? It is the company, time, and affection expressed to those we love. Celebrating achievements, embracing wounds, and empowering desires. This project showcases love in diverse forms.
In a self-portrait inspired by La Grande Odalisque, the artist merges Caribbean heritage with sensuality exploration. The image challenges traditional male views of women and empowers identity reclamation.
Madina, a worker in a dairy plant, symbolizes resilience and strength after raising three children alone. The portrait captures her dedication and endurance in Yakutsk, Russia, for almost 40 years.
