Unfortunately, Lavender seems to have interpreted my response as a "yes," because I received an overjoyed call from our mother later that evening telling me what a wonderful thing I was doing for Lavender and Will in helping them start their family.
I reiterated my views regarding being pregnant-which she has known since we were teens-and asked her to correct the record with our mother and anyone else she may have misinformed.
