The area around the Eiffel Tower, particularly the Champ de Mars, is being transformed into an outdoor sports venue for the games that kick off on July 26. A temporary outdoor arena is being constructed in the Champ de Mars, set between the Eiffel Tower and the Ãcole Militaire, to stage beach volleyball and blind football competitions.
Nearby at the Invalides, you'll find archery, road cycling and other athletics events, while just across the Seine at the Grand Palais will be Fencing and Taekwando. All just a short stroll from your apartment rental in Paris!
