Like so many people, I have been watching the awful events happening in the Middle East over the last year and trying to determine how to react.
The issues we are dealing with are so nuanced and complicated that short statements cannot in any way express fully what I want to say from my heart.
I was given the opportunity in 2016 to work with UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, a global organization dedicated to saving lives, protecting rights, and building a better future for people forced to flee their homes.
