I was raised in a more traditional household growing up. As a man, I was taught certain values, some of which I now know weren't any good at all. My dad's approach ... became telling me that I was getting bullied because I was too easy to bully and too sensitive.
My dad apologized profusely later in my young adulthood for this and said this is something he would change about my upbringing. The result is still set, though, in that I'm one of those guys who has approximately two emotions: calm or angry.
