I got pregnant for the first time early in the pandemic.It felt like perfect timing.There was nothing to do but binge watch TV, go on walks and feel nauseated in the privacy of my own home.The outside world was perilous and unrecognizable, but my life was full of meaning and possibility.Nine weeks into the pregnancy, I FaceTimed my husband from a routine scan  because partners weren't permitted in the office, he'd been waiting in the car.
