Scottish comedian Janey Godley has announced she is entering end-of-life palliative care due to terminal ovarian cancer, expressing gratitude for the support and care she has received.
In her emotional video update, Godley reflects, 'It is devastating news to know that I'm facing end-of-life but we all come to an end sometime...I just want you to know that I appreciate all the love you've gave me.'
Godley thanks the NHS and healthcare workers, stating, 'from the doctors, the nurses, phlebotomists...to the wee woman that holds my hand and makes my tea,' highlighting the importance of support in tough times.
While she acknowledges the gravity of her situation, Godley remains thankful for her family and friends, saying, 'The overwhelming support has been amazing,' recognizing how much it has meant to her.
