The scam site notepad.plus is filled with malicious ads aiming to deceive Notepad++ users, generating profits for the site owners by misleading unsuspecting visitors.
Reporting such scam websites to Google, as done by Notepad++ developer Don Ho, can eliminate them from search results and prevent users from falling victim to their deceptive tactics.
Although notepad.plus may no longer rank highly in search results, it is highlighted that the site adds little value, mainly redirecting users to the official Notepad++ website.
