Microsoft makes it easier to install Windows store apps from the web
Briefly

Microsoft has built an 'undocked version of the [Microsoft] Store' that functions as a standalone executable to simplify app installations from the web.
The new approach reduces the process to two clicks, offering a lightweight installer instead of navigating through multiple steps to install Microsoft Store apps from the web.
Although not all apps currently support the new installer, Microsoft has seen positive results with a 12 percent increase in installations and a 54 percent increase in post-install app launches.
