Freelance designer 101: pricing strategies & work capacity
Briefly

Most of this guide will be focused on fixed-price, one-time projects. You may also be considering charging hourly, but for design work, I think this is very rare and impractical, especially for bigger projects. Even if you are working hourly, you still need to provide at least an estimate of how long it could take.
There are several popular pricing models for one-time freelance projects: Time-based (hours multiplied by rate), Market average (regional comparison), and Value-based (considering how much profit your work can bring). You can choose different strategies for each project.
