Users with Wear OS 2 or later can still access non-WFF watch faces but might face issues if they switch to Wear OS 5, as some watch faces may not carry over or be available for download.
Google plans for all watch faces on the Play Store to be developed using WFF by early 2025, starting with Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra receiving Wear OS 5.
