Google confirms the Pixel 9 Pro Fold with a teaser video
Briefly

Google has confirmed its upcoming line of smartphones will include the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, described as a 'foldable phone built for the Gemini era' with a gen AI chatbot. The device features a camera bump with vertically arranged lenses near one side, not taking up the full width when folded.
The leak from Taiwan's National Communications Commission revealed details about the Pixel 9 models, including the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, showing how Google moved the selfie camera inside the foldable screen for a wider field of view. The leak also highlighted a reduced fold crease on the display measuring just under 10 inches.
According to the NCC leak, the upcoming Pixel 9 models will require bigger chargers and offer generally faster charging rates compared to the previous models, with the Pixel 9 Pro Fold being the slowest. More details will be confirmed during the next Made by Google event on August 13.
