Samsung is planning to launch a slimmer Z Fold6 device alongside the Galaxy S25 series in early 2025. The foldable will be thinner but have a larger display, achieved by omitting the digitizer for the pen input.
The first batch of foldable panels for the Z Fold6 Slim/Ultra will arrive in Q4 this year, with the estimated release in Q1 2025. It's expected to be priced similarly to the Z Fold6.
Samsung aims to expand its foldable range rapidly to stay ahead, introducing more options for consumers. They are also working on more affordable Z Fold6 FE and Z Flip6 FE models.
