"Starting with the Flip6, Fold6 and newer models, the Samsung Messages app will no longer be preloaded," reads a Samsung message posted by Android leaker Max Weinbach. "Instead, Google Messages will provide a new and enhanced experience to express your emotions, making communication safe and fun."
While Samsung didn't explicitly say it, the change only applies to phones sold in the US, according to Mishaal Rahman, who regularly reports on Android rumors.
