Microsoft is reportedly working on a remaster of the first game in the Halo series, Halo: Combat Evolved, as part of their multiplatform strategy, Project Latitude. The company is considering releasing it on rival platforms, such as PlayStation 5 and potentially Nintendo Switch.
The upcoming Microsoft showcase on June 9 is not expected to announce this remaster. Instead, the showcase is likely to feature new entries in other popular series like Doom and Gears of War.
