Fallout 4's Next-Gen Upgrade Has Some Big Issues, Report Shows
Briefly

The Fallout 4 next-gen upgrade has brought a renewed interest in the franchise thanks to Amazon's TV adaptation. However, not all players are satisfied with the update, which Digital Foundry has analyzed across PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
On PC, the update added 21:9 ultrawide support with bugs and subpar implementation. Meanwhile, on consoles, PS5 sees more meaningful improvements compared to Xbox, with two main graphics modes including 4K and 60fps performance mode.
Xbox Series X currently only runs a standard 60fps performance mode with no real difference when toggling settings. The level of detail in background elements on Xbox has decreased compared to the Xbox One version.
PS5 outperforms in terms of functionality, with all modes working as intended. Xbox Series S operates similarly to X but with a dynamic range between 1080p and 1440p in performance mode.
