The annual Evolution Championship Series started as a showcase of the best fighting game players in the world, but in recent years the event has grown to become a celebration of fighting games as a whole. Evo 2024 looks to continue that growth, as its organizers have announced a new venue, new dates, and new ways to experience the show.
Evo 2024 will feature eight fighting games as the marquee tournaments--seven current games and one 'throwback.' Four of the games--Tekken 8, Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising, Mortal Kombat 1, and Under Night In-Birth II Sys:Celes--are making their Evo debut in 2024.
