First, the unsigned majority opinion holds that states can't enforce Section 3 against any prospective federal officeholders, and not just against presidential candidates.
Justices Sotomayor, Kagan, Barrett, and Jackson didn't say they would've answered those questions differently; they just wouldn't have answered them at all.
