When 11 worshipers were killed at the Tree of Life synagogue, the gunman's act of overt antisemitism spurred the community into action to counteract bigotry and hatred.
The new Tree of Life building will include a sanctuary for congregants, an education center to combat bigotry, and a museum chronicling the history of antisemitism in America.
