Live Nation is investigating a data breach after hackers claimed to have stolen personal information of 560 million Ticketmaster customers.
Hackers obtained 1.3 terabytes of user data including names, addresses, phone numbers, order details, and credit card information, selling it for $500,000 on the dark web.
ShinyHunters, the hacking group, has marketed stolen data from over 60 companies globally, impacting millions of customer records since early 2020.
Amidst the data breach investigation, Ticketmaster faces legal challenges as the Justice Department and state attorneys general filed a lawsuit against Live Nation for alleged ticket price monopoly.
