Retired Navy Admiral Is Arrested on Bribery Charges

A retired four-star admiral, Robert P. Burke, was arrested for steering a government contract to a company in exchange for a $500,000 job and a grant of 100,000 stock options.
The company provided a work force training pilot program to a small part of the Navy until the Navy terminated its contract, but the executives still met with Admiral Burke to propose steering a new contract back to the company.
