At least 1,200 people in California were evacuated as a wildfire in Los Angeles County spread over thousands of acres, damaging two commercial structures.
The Post Fire started in Gorman, Calif., moving southeast toward Pyramid Lake, prompting evacuations and closures as gusts up to 30 mph fuel its spread.
