A century after Tulsa Race Massacre, city creates reparations committee

Our fellow Tulsans were murdered, their homes and businesses torched, their bodies buried in unmarked graves so their loved ones couldn't find them. And to this day, no one has ever been held to account for it. To call it an outrage does not do it justice.
Descendants of victims and Tulsa residents prioritize educational opportunities and direct cash payments as crucial reparations for the Tulsa Race Massacre. The Beyond Apology Commission will focus on a housing equity program.
