The new leader of the Scottish Conservatives will be announced at 10am, with Russell Findlay, Murdo Fraser, and Meghan Gallacher as candidates to succeed Douglas Ross.
The Conservatives are currently the second largest group in the Scottish parliament with 31 MSPs and secured five MPs in July's general election.
Almost immediately, the new leader will participate in a ceremony for the 25th anniversary of devolution before attending the Conservative conference in Birmingham.
Labour MP Emily Thornberry highlighted the UK's strong position among G7 countries, noting its stability and progressive government following recent elections.
