Sir Keir Starmer recorded a Covid-era broadcast from a Labour donor's £18 million penthouse just days after new guidance urged the public to work from home.
In his Christmas broadcast, Christmas cards and a picture of Sir Keir and his family can be seen on the shelves behind him, filmed at Lord Alli's flat.
Starmer stated, 'I promised him we would move somewhere, get out of the house and go somewhere where he could be peacefully studying.'
Labour sources maintain that all guidance was followed during the situation, despite the optics of Starmer's high-profile location for a public address.
