ITV has ordered an external review into Phillip Schofield's departure from This Morning.The TV channel's chief executive Dame Carolyn McCall confirmed it had instructed a barrister to carry out a review of the facts in a letter to culture secretary Lucy Frazer.It comes after Schofield quit ITV last week after he admitted lying about having an affair with a colleague from the show in 2020.
