Hundreds of flood warnings across UK with 65mph danger to life' gales expected

Large swathes of the country are on high alert with 95 flood warnings and 209 flood alerts issued by the Environment Agency. A yellow wind warning until 9am on Tuesday for 65mph winds along the south coast poses a risk of flying debris and danger to life.
Following Storm Kathleen's chaos, a van driver had to be rescued from his roof due to a 3.5ft high tide. Firefighters remind to check tide times, not risk driving through flooded roads, and plan journeys ahead.
