The gang made around 6,000 false benefit claims over five years through forged documents, costing taxpayers more than 50 million pounds in the largest benefit fraud case in England and Wales.
The money acquired through fraudulent claims was laundered, moved between accounts, and withdrawn in cash to be used for luxury items like designer clothes, holidays, and high-end cars.
