Why this jet service charges $725 to fly 150 miles from LA
Briefly

Aero, a California jet service, is launching a new and extremely short flight path in November, taking passengers from Van Nuys Airport in LA to Thermal.
Aero CEO Ben Klein noted that for travelers heading to Palm Springs on a Friday afternoon, facing four hours of traffic can significantly cut into their weekend plans.
Aero offers semiprivate flights that seat only 16 people, with flights scheduled on Fridays and Sundays starting at $725 one way, ensuring a hassle-free journey.
Despite being pricier than commercial flights, Aero's service provides first-class amenities and a much shorter travel time, with only 20 minutes required for check-in.
