"Peel police say an 18-year-old motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital after a crash in Brampton, Ont., Sunday. Officers responded to a call at Cooperage Street and Financial Street for reports of a three-vehicle collision, police said. A motorcycle and a Toyota Venza SUV were travelling northbound on Financial Street when the motorcycle, travelling in the curb lane, collided with the car, Peel Regional Police told CBC Toronto in an email."
"Police added the reason for the collision is unclear at this time but the speed of the motorcycle is believed to be a factor. A third vehicle, a Volkswagen, was indirectly involved, police said. The two occupants of the Toyota were taken to hospital precautionarily. Peel paramedics confirmed they transported a motorcyclist to hospital in life-threatening condition shortly after 12 a.m."
