Microsoft and Amazon are teaming up to bring Xbox Gaming to select Amazon Fire TV devices in July for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers in over 25 countries, allowing access to the Xbox app with the Fire TV Stick 4K Max and Fire TV Stick 4K.
Users can sign in to their Microsoft account, pair a compatible Bluetooth controller, and play various games like Fallout 76, Fallout 4, Starfield, and Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2, with both Xbox and PlayStation controllers supported.
Xbox Gaming will be available on Amazon Fire TV two years after being launched on Samsung smart TVs, coinciding with Microsoft's apparent shift away from console hardware towards game subscriptions like Game Pass, evident with Call of Duty's upcoming title being part of Game Pass at launch.
