Intel will release a microcode update to prevent crashing in 13th- and 14th-generation processors, stating that already damaged processors won't be fixed by the update.
Warranty on affected 13th- and 14th-generation CPUs will be extended by two years from Intel, covering subtly damaged CPUs, with pre-built PC users advised to contact manufacturers for support.
