Apple has increased the price of battery replacements for the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max to $119, a $20 increase from previous models. The same pricing applies to last year’s phones and standard models.
This year’s jump in battery replacement prices follows the trend from 2022, where Apple hiked the iPhone 14 replacement cost to $99, subsequently raising prices for other devices as well.
Defective batteries are still covered under Apple's one-year warranty, and users with AppleCare Plus can replace their battery for free if it has less than 80 percent capacity.
For customers disappointed with battery longevity, options are limited to third-party services or DIY repairs, which may provide a more affordable alternative to Apple's pricing.
