Amazon has permission to fly its drones over longer distances

To obtain this permission, Amazon developed detect-and-avoid technology, submitted comprehensive engineering details to the FAA, and successfully conducted flight tests demonstrating safe drone navigation around aircraft, leading to the go-ahead for BVLOS operations.
