PeelPioneers has secured €4M in growth capital to expand its operations, aiming to combat waste by upcycling orange peels into valuable ingredients for various industries.
With a mission to keep citrus peels in the value chain, PeelPioneers processes over 33,000 kg of peel daily, transforming thereby turning waste into essential products.
The company plans a significant expansion with a new, larger factory in Murcia, Spain, while also seeking additional funds through crowdfunding to reach its goals.
Since its founding in 2017, PeelPioneers has emerged as the first fully circular peel collector in the 21st century, serving over 50 diverse clients.
