The Odyssey residential cruise ship, after numerous technical delays, finally departed from Belfast, sparking joy among passengers who had eagerly awaited the journey.
'Everything that could go wrong went wrong,' said Joe Martino, highlighting the extensive delays due to outfitting, certification issues, and engine repairs that plagued the Odyssey.
Passenger Holly Hennessy, who spent four months waiting, joyfully commented, 'I've been in Belfast for four months and two days, but hey, who's counting!'
Mike Petersen, head of Villa Vie Residences, expressed relief when announcing the ship's departure, as passengers celebrated a much-anticipated voyage after enduring long delays.
