Milan and the mountain venues hosted a busy day of Milano Cortina Winter Olympics action across multiple disciplines. Mikaela Shiffrin took a new lead in the women's slalom with a 0.82-second advantage after the first run. Camille Rast posted the early fastest time in the first slalom run. Marion Chevrier fell after taking risky lines and straddled a control gate. GB women's curling trailed USA 3-2; Denmark led China 6-3; South Korea dominated Sweden 8-0. The final snowboarding slopestyle events and cross-country team sprint took place, and men's ice-hockey quarter-finals featured Slovakia v Germany, Canada v Czechia, Finland v Switzerland, USA v Sweden.
