Poor House Bistro, now known as Famiglia Meduri Poor House Bistro, has reopened in San Jose's Little Italy district.
The restaurant was moved to make way for Google's Downtown West project.
The long wait was due to construction material shortages, permits and inspections, and other delays.
Poor House Bistro will share patio space with the Italian Museum and slowly reintroduce live music.
Little Italy will host the Urban Vibrancy Institute's downtown block party on August 24.
