Japan's Moon lander makes it through another lunar night
Briefly

Once more, SLIM has defied the odds and snapped a picture of the lunar surface. The lander survived despite malfunctioning temperature sensors and battery cells, lacking heaters to keep its electronics warm.
SLIM was only designed for its first lunar day and initially tipped onto its side during landing. Despite this, it has gone beyond expectations. JAXA has not confirmed if it will survive a fourth lunar night.
