A man in custody for an alleged assault last month in San Francisco's North Beach neighborhood faces further charges now that the victim has died from his injuries.The assault was reported at 2:11 a.m.Oct. 6 in the 500 block of Broadway, near Columbus Avenue.The victim, found lying on the ground, was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries, San Francisco police said.
