CHP arrests two suspects in Oakland after sideshow

California Highway Patrol officers attempted to stop the suspects, who were observed engaging in sideshow activities in a white Infiniti, near the Treasure Island on-ramp.
The CHP Oakland Area has a zero-tolerance policy on sideshows, street racing and reckless driving and will take the appropriate enforcement action to keep our roadways safe.
The driver and passenger were apprehended after a short foot chase, transported to a local hospital for medical clearance and booked into Santa Rita Jail on multiple charges.
As a reminder, if you are driving in a reckless manner or fleeing from our officers, you can still be held accountable even if you are not apprehended.
