To celebrate the grand opening, Sprouts plans to offer tastings of seasonal produce, a 'guess the weight' contest of an oversized piece of produce, and free reusable goodie bags for the first 100 shoppers on Friday and Saturday, as well as giveaways and music throughout opening weekend.
The new Hayward Sprouts store will be open daily, 7 a.m to 10 p.m. Sprouts also has plans to open another new Bay Area store in San Jose at 375 N. Capitol Ave. on Dec. 6.
