The recovery has been good. I have no injuries, and I restarted jogging after four days, but didn’t really do long runs until I was back in Chamonix.
I think also mentally it was good to give myself that time to recover, so I wasn’t pushing myself too hard and could focus on regaining strength.
I have been here for the Hoka train camp since the end of July, so coming back for the race has felt like a smooth transition.
I did two recons of the route. Some of the memories are ingrained from my previous races, which will help.
