U.S Military Strikes 20th Alleged Drug Vessel
""remove narco-terrorists from our Hemisphere, and secure our Homeland from the drugs that are killing our people.""
""Operation Southern Spear.""
""days are numbered.""
U.S. forces conducted a strike in the Caribbean Sea that killed four alleged "narco-terrorists." The action marked the 20th attack against an alleged drug vessel in international waters since President Donald Trump took office in January. At least 80 people have died as part of the administration's anti-drug initiative aimed at keeping narcotics such as fentanyl from reaching U.S. shores. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth announced Operation Southern Spear to remove narco-terrorists and secure the homeland from lethal drugs. Human rights organizations contend some strikes may be illegal. The USS Gerald R. Ford entered the SOUTHCOM region amid rising tensions with Venezuela and President Nicolás Maduro.
