The science and culture commentary blog by NPR is being concluded after six and a half years. Throughout this journey, numerous commentaries focused on animals, anthropology, human evolution, nature, gender, and higher education. Gratitude is expressed towards colleagues and editors for their contributions and support. Engagement with readers through comments and social media enriched the writing experience. A selection of favorite commentaries is mentioned, and there’s an invitation to continue interaction on Twitter, indicating a desire to maintain connections with the audience.
For six and a half years, I have had the privilege and the pleasure of writing commentaries - right about 50 every year - for NPR on animals, anthropology, human evolution, nature, gender, and higher education.
The blog's science and culture commentary is being discontinued by NPR - and, so, it's time to say goodbye.
The interaction we have had... made every week exciting. You engaged with my arguments, sometimes with vigorous pushback and sometimes with praise.
I expect to keep right on writing, elsewhere, about these topics. I invite you to continue reading my commentary by follow me on Twitter.
