Librarians Resist Israel's Efforts to Destroy Palestinian Cultural Heritage
Briefly

For Palestinian librarians, Israeli restrictions on imports dating to 2007 meant that school librarians faced inordinate challenges in building collections of culturally relevant materials. These challenges were exacerbated by the ongoing violence and destruction of important cultural sites, dramatically impacting educational resources for future generations.
Librarians and Archivists with Palestine (LAP) has been instrumental in providing a platform for solidarity initiatives, emphasizing the role of information access and cultural preservation amidst ongoing violence, thereby preserving the historical narrative surrounding the Palestinian experience.
