Yankees 5, Tigers 2: Late Soto double, rain pave way for sweep
Briefly

After showing a more patient approach to the plate yesterday, it seemed that the Yankees' game plan was to try to attack early in the count on Skubal's fastball.
On the third pitch of his at-bat, Aaron Judge blasted a deep solo home run off a 97-mph four-seamer, putting the Bombers on the scoreboard first.
Skubal struck out the side in the third inning and finished with a clean dozen strikeouts, the most a starter has had against the Yankees this year.
