Thankfully, the Tigers failed to get all 27 outs - in fact they didn't even get a 25th - as the Yanks rallied to win in the ninth before winning on both Saturday and Sunday.
The weather was the stealth hero yesterday afternoon, as Aaron Boone didn't even have to be tempted to use Clay Holmes in a three-run game for the save. Instead, the rain came, and after almost an hour of waiting, the game was called in the eighth.
