The flaws in this roster continue to pop up on the offensive side: they couldn't score more than two runs a game in Baltimore, nearly got shutout in their opener against Detroit, and often have shown an inability to string consecutive innings of offense together...
The offense is at least seeing some different contributors at the top now, with Anthony Rizzo and Aaron Judge having strong performances after cold starts while Juan Soto and Anthony Volpe have cooled off...
